The Worthy Vice Chancellor, Balochistan University of Engineering & Technology, Khuzdar, Dr. Sohrab Khan Bizanjo was the Guest of Honor & Keynote speaker at the 1st SMIU Global Research Congress on the theme” Reshaping the Society through Innovation and Sustainability” held on 8-9 March, 2023 at Sindh Madresstul Islam University, Karachi.

A panel discussion was also held on “Issues in Pakistan Higher Education and Their Impact on Sustainable Development” on second day of the SMIU Global Research Congress. The Vice Chancellors of different universities of Pakistan were in the panel of discussion including Vice Chancellor of NED University Dr. Sarosh Hashmat Lodi, President SZABIST Begum Shahnaz Wazir Ali, Vice Chancellor The Islamia University Bahawalpur Dr. Athar Mahmood, Vice Chancellor Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Dr. Tauha Hussain Ali and Vice Chancellor Balochistan University of Engineering, Technology, Khuzdar Dr. Sohrab Khan Bizanjo. The Vice Chancellor of Agriculture University Faisalabad Dr. Iqrar Ahmed participated in the discussion online.
