A team from the International Interchange Development Association (IIDA) of the Republic of Korea headed by IIDA President Mun Yong-ja Visited & Signed the Letter of Intent (LOI) with the Vice Chancellor of Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology, Khuzdar (BUETK) on 29-30th June, 2022. IIDA has established a Korean language center at BUET, Khuzdar. A hallmark of this initiative is start of the talent hunt program for the students of BUETK Studying in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) and Software Engineering. The selected students of BUETK through this program will get an opportunity to Study at South Korean Universities and then Work with Korean Industries on E-7 Visa which will help them in gaining quality industrial experience and then transfer that back to Pakistan leading to socio economic development of Pakistan in general and Balochistan in particular. This collaboration is linked with Sustainable Development Goal 17 (Partnerships to achieve SDGs) which will also help in meeting the target of Sustainable Development for Pakistan under UN Vision 2030 and enhancing Pakistan-South Korea relations.
