The Governor of Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Kakar stated that a laptop should not be perceived merely as an electronic device, but rather as a significant tool to connect and engage with the entire world. He emphasized the importance of utilizing the wealth of knowledge and research materials available on the internet to overcome ignorance at the public level and promote enlightenment through education and awareness. Governor Balochistan expressed his expectations that under the leadership of Professor Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, the Vice-Chancellor of Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology Khuzdar, the university would achieve excellence at the national level.
These remarks were made during an event organized in Khuzdar to distribute laptops, where prominent figures including Professor Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, Principal Secretary to Governor Balochistan Hashim Khan Ghilzai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sohrab Khan Bizanjo, Registrar Dr. Jalal Shah,

Addressing the gathering, Governor Balochistan highlighted the significance of artificial intelligence and robotics in the present era. He urged the participants to enlighten their minds with new knowledge and philosophy. Governor Balochistan mentioned that science and technology in the 21st century are essential components of human life, and without them, leading a successful life is nearly impossible.
The successful laptop distribution ceremony was commended, and Governor Balochistan praised the dedicated efforts of all organizers and the participation of esteemed guests. He concluded the event with a prayer for divine assistance in aligning Balochistan with the modern world.
Later, Governor Balochistan had a meeting in an open session with the administration of BUET Khuzdar, where he obtained information about the issues faced by the university. Subsequently, he participated in the prestigious laptop distribution ceremony and handed out laptops to the students. Briefings on administrative and educational matters were also provided to Governor Balochistan during the event. In the end, Governor Balochistan interacted with the students of BUET Khuzdar, fostering a sense of unity and collaboration among the students and examining various academic departments of the university.
