appropriate number of students/sections in parallel sessions which will require
sufficient bandwidth.
5. Keeping in view the difficulties of the students in general and of Balochistan in
particular, as per requirement both synchronous / asynchronous mode and
hybrid/blended of teaching will be allowed. However, all lectures and their recordings
will be made available in University’s LMS as per HEC and PEC guidelines after
approval by TLA committee and after final approval of Vice Chancellor.
6. For each credit hour (Theory) of the online ready course, one credit hour will be equal
to one contact hour. This one contact hour shall include teaching, discussion, tutorials.
However, to deal with the problems faced during online lectures, each faculty member
may allocate additional hours as per requirement to facilitate students.
7. Faculty members and university IT team shall coordinate efforts to ensure that students

Studies
c. Scrutinize the lectures / handouts / assignments / quizzes / audio visual aids /
library assistance / weblinks and other relevant teaching material as online
ready prepared by faculty members as per quality assurance guidelines given
by HEC/PEC/NCEAC (Attached as Annex-II)
d. Ensure that for all Engineering program, as per Outcome Based Education, 12
Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) as stipulated in the PEC Accreditation
Manual-2014 will be attained
e. To guide faculty members on semesters involving Complex Engineering
Problems as per PEC guidelines of COVID-19
f. Recommend the methods suitable for the courses where Lab. Work/Practical
is possible via e-labs or simulation-based laboratory experiments as per PEC
guidelines may be considered only
g. Recommend courses where labs/ experiments can’t be implemented online so
that such course may be offered on campus after resumption of normal
academic session ensuring attainment of program and course learning
outcomes
h. Certify that a faculty member is online ready for teaching in line with guidance
given by HEC/PEC/NCEAC:
i. Faculty member has completed the training on relevant tools, software
ii. Faculty member has prepared and delivered online sample lecture to the
standards and requirements as per QEC
i. Report any problems faced during online readiness to the TLA committee
9. All Final Year Design Projects (FYDP) will be continued as per the relevant clauses in
the PEC Accreditation Manual-2014 and as Project Review and Evaluation Committee
PREC of relevant department by following methods;
a. Capstone projects can be conducted/considered using computer-based
simulation, presenting literature critiques or system designs etc. utilizing
appropriate modern tool usage and technologies
b. Ongoing capstone projects at the final semester and focusing on experimental
projects will be carried out with possibility of extension of time to complete
c. Capstone projects at the initiation stage which focused on experimental projects
are encouraged to realign as simulation work or computer- based technologies and
system designs etc. relevant to the offered engineering discipline
10. For approval of research proposals submitted for postgraduate program or for
evaluation of postgraduate theses (where required), postgraduate research committee

One morning, when Gregor Samsa woke from troubled dreams, he found himself transformed in his bed into a horrible vermin. He lay on his armour-like back, and if he lifted his head a little he could see his brown belly, slightly domed and divided by arches into stiff sections. The bedding was hardly able to cover it and seemed ready to slide off any moment. His many legs, pitifully thin compared with the size of the rest of him, waved about helplessly as he looked. “What’s happened to me?” he thought. It wasn’t a dream. His room, a proper human room although.
