Dr. Munezza received her Ph.D. in Nanoengineering from SCME, NUST, in 2020. Her doctoral research was on developing a magneto-photonic sensor for diagnostic application. She has a master’s degree in Biomedical Science (SMME, NUST) and a bachelor’s in Biotechnology (University of Karachi). She is an HEC approved supervisor in the areas of biomedical engineering, biosensors, and bioelectronics, nanophotonics, magnetic materials, and soft materials for biomedical applications. She maintains an h-index of five and recently received a research grant of 4.7 million from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
