A memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Tabba Heart Institute (THI) & Balochistan University of Engineering & Technology Khuzdar (BUETK) for sharing knowledge and expertise in the field of Healthcare. This MoU will be beneficial in facilitating BUETK students, employees, and their family members as they will be getting discounted rates for consultations, clinical tests, and pharmacy for THI centers all across Pakistan. Also, MoU includes remote consultation facilities and the organization of health camps for the community of the Khuzdar.
The signing ceremony was held at Tabba Heart Institute, Karachi, and was attended by senior management from both organizations including Dr. Sohail Abrar, Mr. Musharaf Hussain, Ms. Nousheen Rad, and Dr. Maieda Tahir from THI and Engr. Dr. Sohrab Khan – Vice Chancellor BUETK and Engr. Dr. Shabbar Naqvi – Director Post Graduate Studies from BUETK. During the discussions, it was also agreed that THI will also support the Bio-Medical Engineering program of the BUETK which is the first program in the Balochistan exclusively initiated by the BUETK. The THI officials also congratulated Engr. Dr. Sohrab Khan on his appointment as Vice Chancellor BUETK and appreciated the efforts put in by the BUETK for quality enhancement of education as well as community servicing to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for Pakistan in general and Balochistan in particular.
