Secretary Forest Balochistan, Dr. Muhammad Saeed Jamali visited Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology, Khuzdar on 22nd of January, 2020. On his visit he handed over 3000 Olive Plants to varsity in line with 10 Billion Tsunami Tree Project. The Secretary also planted the very first Olive plant in the university on this occasion he was accompanied by Chief Conservator Wild Life Shareef-Ud-Din, Chief Conservator Forest Zaigham Ali, Registrar BUETK Engr. Dr. Jalal Shah and Director of ORIC Dr. Khair Muhammad. The department will pay Rs. 100 to BUETK for planting each plant. Dr Khair Muhammad (Director of ORIC at BUETK) briefed the Secretary Forest about the ongoing and future projects started by BUETK under the dynamic leadership of the Vice Chancellor Dr. Ehsan Ullah Khan Kakar regarding Green BUETK Project. Keeping in view the Green BUETK Project aligned with the vision of the Vice Chancellor Dr. Ehsan Ullah Khan Kakar the Secretary Forest also agreed to provide two imported Shades along with Nursery, Plants and Installation of a Weather Station (Early Warning System) at the institute, which will alarm any climate change 48 hours prior to it.
