Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) and Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology, Khuzdar jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding here in Islamabad on 10th July 2019 to coordinate efforts for poverty alleviation in the province of Balochistan. The MOU was signed by Dr Ehsan Ullah Kakar, Vice Chancellor, Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology, KHuzdar and Mr Qazi Azmat Isa, Chief Executive Officer, Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund. Senior Officials from PPAF; Ms Simi Kamal, Head of Programs and Ms Johdah Bokhari, General Manager attended this MOU signing ceremony
Under this MOU, PPAF and BUET Khuzdar will explore research, knowledge sharing opportunities and collaboration around areas of mutual interests. PPAF will be supporting selected researches conducted by students and faculty of BUET Khuzdar that have direct relevance with PPAF work in the field. PPAF and BUET Khuzdar will also collaborate for provision of technical and vocational trainings and other skill development programs for the ultra and vulnerable poor communities of Balochistan.
