Dr. Agha Aamir Jan received his MS and PhD in Mechanical Engineering (Micro-Nano Engineering) from Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea in 2021. He received his Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro in 2013. He joined Balochistan University of Engineering & Technology in 2015 as a Lab. Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He has been teaching different courses in Bachelor and Master Programs.
Dr. Agha’s research interests include, micro-nano synthesis specifically mechanical, thermal and electrical properties of nanocomposites and energy materials. He has worked on different research projects of NRF and MNSL, measurement setup for in-situ strain-dependent thermal transport during his PhD in South Korea. He presented his work in different international conferences and well-reputed scientific journals. He is also a member of several professional organizations, PEC, RSC, and MNS Lab.
