Faculty Development For PhD Studies Abroad 2007-2008
Balochistan University Of Engineering and Technology Khuzdar has Announced
Scholarships for Faculty Development Program for PhD studies
Abroad for the Calendar Year 2007-2008. The last date for the Applications

Inauguration of University Data Center
The Worthy Vice Chancellor Brig. (Retd.) Mukhtar Ahmed Khan inaugurated the
University Data Center, with all staff and faculty members of Balochistan
University of Engineering & Technology Khuzdar.
The data center has eight dual Xeon processor Servers that
enables the Balochistan University of Engineering & Technology Khuzdar
to link with 2x2Mbps downlink/uplink connectivity to Internet through VSAT.
It also plays the role of control room for the LAN connection for the
University.
On this special occasion, a simple but regardful ceremony
was held. The Vice Chancellor specially appreciated the extra efforts
contributed by the staff of CSE&S Department in development of University
Data Center and establishment of LAN, at the moment.

Inauguration of Bachelor's Teachers Hostel
The Honorable Governor Balochistan Mr. Awais Ahmed Ghani inaugurated the
newly build Bachelor's teachers hostel.
Balochistan UET has well furnished
accommodations for both teachers and staff. However, there was a great need
for separate accommodation for bachelor teachers. A project was started in
2001 for the purpose and completed in two years.
