Balochistan, the largest geographic segment of the country, though the most backward area, is rich in mineral potential and talented progress friendly human stock. It is now recognized across the country that the development and prosperity of the nation will eventually depend on untapped resources available in Balochistan. This awareness and recognition enhances the Balochistan and the responsibilities of the young generation of the province. They have to equip themselves with the latest knowledge, strategies and skills that they may be able to play their role in the development of the country, successfully and with a sense of pride.

Keeping in view the above, Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology, Khuzdar is ambitious to play its role in the development of the country. Modern technologies are being introduced and the present infrastructure is being enhanced to meet the rapidly changing requirements of the age. University Computerization, Digital Library, Fully equipped Labs with internet facility and LAN / Networking to connect the University with the WAN (other Universities of the country) through PERN, were the dreams of yesterday and the achievements of today. I hope, the future will be even better, Insha-Allah.
