Library

The University has a main Library furnished with a handsome number of books of different topics which includes Engineering/Technical, literature etc. In addition to the main Library, each engineering discipline has provision of its own departmental library.

Books are issued to the students for one term on their enrollment as members of the Library. The Books are required to be returned to the Library at the end of the academic year. In case of loss, the student is required to pay actual price plus 30% of the price as fine for losing the book(s) and overhead charges.

Staff Accommodations

The BUET basically is a residential institution, so there is a well arrangement of accommodation. The BUET staff is provided with small and beautiful Bungalows and Houses.

Student Hostels
There are six elegantly constructed student hostels. Each hostel has a capacity of 60 students to meet the requirements of students.

Messing facilities are also available in the hostels. Cooks and other respective staff as well as crockery is provided by the University

Transport
The University transport unit has four buses and three vans which ply regularly between the campus and selected points in the City for the students as well as for the employees of the University according to the schedule issued from time to time.

Cafeteria

There is a beautiful cafeteria in the university campus which cater the needs of both staff and the students.

Mosque

Pakistan being an Islamic country, a mosque is the necessary part of every project. Obviously it is not considered as facility but a necessity, however a beautiful mosque is their within the campus for both students and staff.

University Computer Center

BUET has a beautiful university computer center that remains open whole day. It provides the general and internet facility for all the students and the teachers.
