  • Breakpoints may be set (up to four maximum) to aid debugging. When a breakpoint is encountered, the register contents are displayed, and then control returned to the monitor program.
  • Copy command allows a block of memory to be copied to a new location.
  • Display (hex dump) a block of memory in hexadecimal, with ASCII equivalents where appropriate. The speed may be user adjusted.
  • Erase all EEPROM locations.
  • Fill a block of memory with a specified byte.
  • Go command (start execution of the user's program).
  • Halt command. This stops the 68HC11 processor.
  • Load programs in Motorola S-record format, from the PC into MC11's on board memory.
  • Memory command allows specified memory location to be examined and modified.
  • Default command allows original settings are restored.
  • Proceed command permits with program execution after a breakpoint.
  • Register contents to be examined and modified.
  • Single step Programs may be single stepped one instruction at a time. The register contents are displayed.
  • Trace the user program - each instruction is disassembled, and the registers displayed. Tracing may be temporarily suspended, to allow examination of registers, then resumed, at any time. The speed may be user-adjusted.
